The team will describe the research it conducted as part of its capstone MBA project at UCLA Anderson. The presentation will provide a broad view of the microfinance market in India and the use of technology to meet the vast unmet demand for microfinance in India.

Jill Bangser Fioravanti
Jill’s professional expertise is in program development and capacity-building for non-profits, with an emphasis in community development. A graduate of Stanford University with a major in psychology and a minor in urban studies, Jill began her career at a for-profit research firm that measures the impact of educational investments and after-school initiatives. Jill then completed the prestigious Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs in St. Louis, MO. For the last six years, Jill has worked at the Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation, a nationally-recognized affordable housing community development corporation, where she has focused on community organizing program development, the development of subordinate loan products for homeownership, policy analysis, evaluation and strategic planning. Jill has also established an independent consulting practice that delivers strategic planning and capacity-building services for local and national non-profit organizations.

Ann Le
Ann's Wall Street career started with Banc of America Securities where she traded various commodity and structured products throughout the Fixed Income division for over six years in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. Prior to graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Economics, Ann worked in London for Merrill Lynch M&A Division. Ann has traveled extensively throughout Europe, South East Asia, Central America and parts of Africa and the Middle East. Ann spends most of her free time volunteering as a Board member with Vietnamese organizations in Orange County and neighborhood organizations around her home in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Ann is an accomplished cook and an author of a book on Vietnamese Cooking.

Rajesh Sharma
Rajesh will complete his MBA at UCLA Anderson in June 2008 with emphasis on Strategy and International Business. He is a board member of the Net Impact Club where he started the popular International Development Series. Rajesh has worked full-time an Interaction Designer and User Interface Architect at Walt Disney Animation Studios for the last 10 years and has a Masters in Computer Science from Indiana University.

Yumna Siddiqi
Yumna's professional ambition is to use marketing and market research to help guide product development and strategy. She will complete her MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management with a marketing concentration this summer. Prior to UCLA she worked as an architect for 10 years practicing in Chicago and Los Angeles and working on affordable housing, commercial interiors and retail projects. Most recently Yumna spent 4 years managing a small architectural firm and working with retail clients to design stores that enhanced or reflected their brand. Yumna received her BS in Architecture and her Masters of Architecture from the Ohio State University
